How to create shutdown and reboot widget in Android phones

You must root your phone to add shutdown and reboot widgets since they require root access to do the function. For all ICS(4.0.3) users if you need help in rooting, click here.
                   After getting root access,  go to play store and download reboot and shutdown applications. You can add the widget on home screen with a long press on screen.
